THEATER SCHEDULE INFORMATION FOR TIMOTHY 4, ALPHA & OMEGA

TO ALL TIMOTHY 4, ALPHA, AND OMEGA DANCERS:

The following Red Cast dances will be rehearsed immediately following the Green Cast Dress Rehearsal. Dancers DO need to be in appropriate costumes with headpieces and hair. All is Well, Kings, and Gloria Lead dancers DO need to wear pointe shoes. Gloria demi-soloist and corps dancers do NOT need to wear pointe shoes. There will NOT be a curtain call and dancers will be immediately dismissed as they are finished with their particular dances. Johanna Maserjian and Clara Nash will stand in as Cherubs for All is Well. We are anticipating the Red Cast run of the following dances in to take apporxiamately 60 minutes. (9:30 – 10:30) The theater will close its doors at 10:45 as planned. (Notes for both Green and Red Casts will be given on stage on Friday after warm-up class.) Thank you very much for your flexibility and patience. Please continue to support your fellow Red Cast dancers! We are so proud of each and every one of you!

WE ARE MOVING!!!!

FINALLY, we have a good idea that we can move Sat./Sun Oct 30/31st to our new location!!! Classes will begin at the new facility on Monday, November 1st!! (of course, unless something unforeseen happens, which we dont anticipate!)

They are painting this week, and we are flooring starting Oct. 23 through the 26th. We anticipate our Certificate of Occupancy at the end of that week. As soon as we have it, we will begin to move things into the new building. We will have classes and rehearsals at the Center Road location (current) through the 30th. If you would like to help us move Oct. 29-31, please let me know you are available. Trucks and vans are very helpful, as are organizational skills!!!

Alpha and Omega's will have a new modified Nov/Dec schedule. All Timothy level classes will remain the same through December. We will go back to the ORGINAL schedule in January. All non-company classes, and all Timothy classes (except for Int.Adv Tap which moved to Thursday) will not change for Nov/Dec.

We have a roof!!!!! Shingles should be coming on shortly! And we will DEFINATELY (God willing of course) be in the new building BEFORE Thanksgiving! We will have alot to be thankful for this year!!!!

Nativity Paragraphs

As part of our audition this fall, all Omega dancers are required to submit a paragraph (written, email, or facebooked) about WHY they want to be Nativity this year. I need to see their heart. And I want this to remind them to search themselves and find their motivation for dancing.

Alpha Company dancers may submit a paragraph as well, but it is not required.

Paragraphs are to be submitted to me, Julie, no later than Tuesday September 21st. My email address is sof@bellsouth.net.

Grading is finished and the foundation will be poured on Friday, Aug. 27th at 630am!!! Framers will start framing on Tuesday, August 31st!!! Moving date is looking like early November IF all goes as planned. Keep praying for no rain next Tuesday-Friday!!!!

Update on Property!!!

As you all know, we officially closed on the property on Walnut Grove Road! SOF now owns its own land!!!! We anticipated that we would have "moved dirt" by now, but due to proper paperwork and processes being followed, we have not recieved all the permits yet to get moving. We fully expect those permits in the next week or so, and have an expected date to start grading the land the week of June 28th. This puts us behind our initial projection of moving in August. However, we fully believe we can be in the new facility no later than the end of September, hopefully the front end of that month, Lord Willing.

Please continue to be in prayer as we all want this gift of our own building to come sooner than later. Pray that once they get the grading equipment in there later this month, that there be LITTLE OR NO RAIN until we can get the building framed and "dried in".

This delay in moving does mean a temporary change in the fall schedule for companies. I am working with your teachers to put that temporary schedule in place. Once we move, it will resume to the planned schedule you already have and that is posted. Most of the non-company classes will remain as scheduled to allow those students who come only once a week to stay more consistant. This just makes more sense business wise. Thanks for your flexibility here. Know that the change in schedule is ONLY TEMPORARY and the REWARDS WILL BE GREAT!!!!!

Update on Anna Martin

As Theresa promised, I am giving you a brief update. SHE IS FINE. We went to the ER, but due to the crowd, and her parents' experience with this, they determined that she would be better off to go home and take the wait and see approach. I really think she is going to be OK for tomorrow. She was laughing (alittle) by the time she left.

Please continue to pray for her as I am SURE it hurts. And girls, no more body slams against the brick wall! JUST KIDDING!!!! Seriously, be careful out there!

Dear Lord, Please put an armor of protection around my girls (and boys) and their families. The Enemy is on the prowl and I ask that in Jesus Name you STOP HIM!!!! I pray for health and healing, both physical, emotional, and mental on anyone associated with SOF in Jesus' name!!!!!
