Due to the lighting constraints in Canton Theatre, we have changed our out of town venue for The Nativity to Rome Civic Auditorium on December 13th. Performance is either 3 or 4pm. THIS IS A FULL LENGTH SHOW!!! We will be rehearsing/staging that MORNING, so you need to plan on being in Rome all day that day. Dont worry, we will feed you!!
I have already been in touch with several of my old friends in Rome, and they are willing to help us get the word out! Riah Brand, one of our newest company members, lives in Rome and she and her family has offered to do so much already to help make this venue a successful show and outreach effort! I am so excited!!!
Rome Civic Ballet, and my dear friend Meredith Thomas/the director,will be working with us to fill in some of the things we need (like little ones to do the non-company dances like Away in a Manger, etc.).
We are working on many details. Note that the Young Apprentices will NOT be going to Rome, and I am still working on whether the YC will be going. (The YA/YC girls will be doing all the Grand shows and we dont want to wear them or their parents out!!) ALL Senior company and Sr. Apprentice members WILL be performing in Rome.
Please note that our school show that we do every year at the Trinity School in Cartersville IS BOOKED for Monday, Dec. 14th at 9am. You should be able to return to school that morning by 1015am. Not all the younger levels will be participating. I will be determining WHO is needed soon. For Sr. Co/Sr. Appr: Let us know if this is impossible for you to participate NOW.
Whoa, we are so busy, but appreciate your patience with all the details. I wanted to get the dates out NOW so you could be planning. AND PRAYING!!!
