Information for Pioneer Days Performers
Pioneer Days is located at Sam Smith Park on Douthit Ferry Road on your way to Woodland High School. From the Studio turn left out of the parking lot, veer left at stop sign (3 way stop). Just after Middle School, turn RIGHT at stop sign onto Douthit Ferry Road (four way stop). Sam Smith park will be about a mile on your right before you cross the river.
Here is some information for when you arrive at Pioneer Days during labor day weekend. If you are performing you will get in to the festival at no cost. However, they cannot allow non performing people in at for free. It is $5.00 for children and adults 13 and up, anyone under 12 will have no cost for entry. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring the least amount of vehicles as possible. We will try to get you as close to the stage as possible, but parking is limited! Just tell the gate worker that you are part of the entertainment. Steven, the direcetor, will personally be providing water, hamburgers and hotdogs for the weekend.
Our timeline for the day:
1145am: Arrive at studio for warm up (hair and makeup done)
12-1pm: Warm up class with Ms. Chrissy or Ms. Mary
1pm: leave for performance venue
130-230 Performance at Pioneer Days
I will be going over to the venue at 1230 to make sure I know where the tarp will go. Since this is a new venue, be prepared to be flexible as far as space and time go.
Im excited!!!! I will have line up of dances for you by next week.
